The Lifelong Learning Programme and the Grundtvig action

llpBelgrade, November 2012. The training for the application for the “Lifelong Learning Program” was held from 28th November till 1st December 2012. at the Palace Hotel in Belgrade, organized by the Adult Education Society and the Office for Political Education of the German Land Baden – Württemberg (Landeszentrale für politische Bildung Baden-Württemberg). Among the participants there were representatives of nongovernmental organizations, scientific research institution, university, professional association of andragogists, Ministry of Education and Science, National Agency for Employment and others, from both Serbia and Montenegro. Dr. Karlheinz Duerr, an independent expert of The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of European Commission from Brussels, Belgium, facilitated the training. The participants had the opportunity to improve knowledge and skills in following areas: applying procedures for Grundtvig subprogram, structure of the application form, structure of the budget, assessment process and evaluation criteria of project proposal. Sample of successful as well as unsuccessful application forms were presented and analysed. Republic of Serbia signed Memorandum with European Commission in 2011 and has become full member in centralized parts of Grundtvig subprogram actions. Organized training aimed to help strengthen the capacity of members of organizations who tend to submit project proposals for a centralized Grundtvig subprogram within the Lifelong Learning Program.
