BELL partners and multiplicators meeting at final project session

beLLBonn, January 2014. After two years of collecting and analyzing data about connection between participation of adults in formal educational activities and concrete benefits for wellbeing of individuals and their nearest surroundings, project partners from ten countries were presenting final researching results to the future multiplicators. The meeting was held on January 21th at the German Institute for Adult Education (DIE), where the final research results were summarized, and after which was talking about dissemination of the results throughout activities of multiplicators, issuing publications and about updating news on the project web page. Meeting with the multiplicators, namely with experts from the wide range of institutions, was held on January 22th in DIE. After presenting the results and methodology of research, work was continued in work groups in which was discussed about ways in which the already existing results can be used. The document “Policy Recommendations from the BeLL Study” was the outcome of the discussion and working sessions from the past two days. Participation and engagement of the Serbian research team was especially commended, considering the role of the team as a silent partner. After returning to Belgrade on January 30th, at the Adult Education Society a BELL team meeting was held, and further steps were arranged in dissemination of gained research results, but also their usage for promoting lifelong learning and creating a lobbying for adult education at the national and regional level.
