Belgrade, December 2012. In the Children’s Cultural Center Belgrade at the 2nd of December 2012. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. was organized The V Festival of Adult Education “Catch the Light“ 2012. This year the Festival was organized by Adult Education Society with following partners, Serbian Association of Andragogist (DaS), Institute of pedagogy and andragogy in the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Belgrade, Andragogy Students` Club and supported by The German Adult Education Association (DVV) and The Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ). During the Festival day were organized the open discussion on topic about significant of andragogical profession for management of different types of organizations, information hour of relevant organization for education of young and adults, which can offer support to other organizations and individuals, more than 30 providers of educational programs for adults were presented their educational programs through workshops and short presentations. The special block was dedicated to elderly and consisted of theatre play and intergenerational workshop. The program also was included the animation of audience through presentation of magic tricks, dancing salsa and playing the guitar. Adult Education Festival “Catch the Light“ 2012 had more than 250 visitors and between the participants of the Festival were made partnerships and clearly was articulated the need for promotion of adult education through festival activities.
