Belgrade, May 2013. In continuation of project European Master in Adult Education (EMAE) during the period 16-24. May, prof. Daniel Kober, Ph.D. member of EMAE Steering Committee from Faculty of Education at the University of Duisburg-Essen, visited Chair of Andragogy at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, and gave a series of lectures to undergraduate students. During his visit several meetings were organized in Belgrade and in Novi Sad, with representatives of partner organizations from Serbia (Institute for Pedagogy and Andragogy, Chair of Andragogy, Adult Education Society) and project coordinators from Masaryk University from Brno; but also with former participants of EMAE Camp from Belgrade. Master students who participated in the Camp made a brief summary on post-camp activities related to transnational projects and got a detailed feedback from EMAE Camp Professors. Besides the EMAE Camp topic, professors and students from Serbia shared their experience with colleagues from Czech Republic about organizing Serbian Andragogy Day. Serbian representatives of Adult Education Society, professors and students shared with University’s visitors some good examples of practice. Second part of Daniel’s visit was dedicated to lecturing. As a guest professor at the University of Belgrade, Prof. Kober gave lectures on the following topics: State and Market in Lifelong Learning, Quality Management and Quality Assurance and Adult and Continuing Education in Germany. Students attended lectures as a part of Vocational Education and Training compulsory course. They had a unique opportunity to hear about European perspective of adult education and to discuss Serbian and German practice of adult education.
